I am very satisfied with bilateral relations between Montenegro and the USA in the field of defense. Provision of 67 light-armored vehicles is particularly important, said defense Minister, Mr Predrag Bošković during the meeting with the United States Secretary of Defense, Mr Mark Esper in Brussels.
Mr Bošković said that provision of new vehicles confirmed Ministry’s efforts to equip Armed Forces of Montenegro in accordance with the highest standards, but it also confirmed our commitment to the fulfillment of key NATO objectives.
He emphasized the importance of joint bilateral defense projects and expressed satisfaction over the future joint training sessions which would contribute to further development of interoperability of the armed forces.
Mr Esper hailed high-quality, professional and efficient contribution of the Armed Forces of Montenegro within international mission and operations.
Mr Esper expressed particular satisfaction with the fact that Montenegro represents the best example of the success in Euro-Atlantic integration in the region.
