Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, welcomed today Turkish Minister of Interior, Mr Suleyman Soylu, who is in his official visit to Montenegro. Mr Marković emphasized excellent bilateral relations between Montenegro and Turkey, including high-level political dialogue, which is the basis for successful cooperation in all areas.
“Montenegro respects Turkish companies that operate here, appreciates their investments and that’s how we send message to other countries that Montenegro is safe investment destination with high level of business security”, said Mr Marković.
PM pointed out that there was room for further improvement of economic cooperation and new investments, particularly in the northern part of Montenegro.
Interlocutors agreed that relations between the two countries had become even more stable with Montenegro’s NATO accession. Mr Soylu praised Montenegro’s achievements in the European integration process, while emphasizing that Turkey strongly supports enlargement policy.
