Montenegro reports 29 coronavirus cases, 938 people quarantined

According to the latest data announced this morning by assistant health ministers in Montenegro, there are 29 persons infected with the coronavirus in Montenegro, while 938 are in a coronavirus quarantine. Speaking in the Morning Show, Assistant Health Minister, Mr Miro Knežević, told there have been 29 cases recorded so far, whereas Ms Vesna Miranović, speaking in a TV show titled ‘Colors of the Morning’, said 938 persons are in the quarantine camps.

“The latest data – 29 people tested positive for COVID-19 and 207 had negative test results,“ Mr Knežević said.

He underlined that the whole world was facing problems in terms of procuring the necessary equipment, but Montenegro still resists this problem and reacts in a timely manner.

“We will have enough personal protective equipment, as we expect to get new supplies today. There won’t be problems in this part – the equipment is coming,” Mr Knežević claimed.

 

Ms Miranović, on the other hand, was speaking about quarantine conditions. When asked to comment on citizens’ complaints about the conditions and food in quarantines, she underlined that all quarantine camps are will equipped, but there’s always some people finding faults with things.

“Currently, there are 938 people in quarantines, and we expect another 100 today. According to some announcements, from 300 to 400 people will be quarantined tomorrow,“ she said.

Both noted that every citizen should comply with the recommendations of health care institutions – reduce physical contact and stay at home.
