Montenegro’s army improved its combat readiness

Montenegrin Armed Forces have undergone the combat readiness evaluation process, observed by the two representatives from the NATO Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) in Izmir, Turkey, and have proved high level of combat readiness, the Ministry of Defense told Pobjeda, a daily.

The Ministry also said that during the period 17-21 Sept. 2018, 2 infantry forces, the NHBO Division and the Demining Team of the Armed Forces of Montenegro were evaluated during the “Decisive Action 18” exercise, as well as the Military Police Department of the Military Police Forces.

“ ‘Decisive Action 18’ is an independent exercise organized in accordance with the NATO directive referring to trainings, and it enables assessment of the level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Montenegro which can contribute to NATO,” explained the Ministry of Defence.

The exercise makes a part of the combat readiness final evaluation in compliance with NATO criteria (Combat Readiness Evaluation – CREVAL).
