Montenegro’s national parks ready for visitors

The national parks in Montenegro attract an increasingly diverse array of travelers but the company managing these parks says their aim is not to increase the number of visitors but rather to improve the quality of services provided. In this way we promote exceptional beauties of protected natural areas in our country, they claim.

From the beginning of the year, 100,000 people visited Montenegrin national parks, which is by around 20% more than last year. The company, which is managing these stunning natural resources, says they expect the increase in visitor numbers, that is, a record-breaking year.

“Some of the most attractive tourist activities are: rafting Tara tours and river rafting in boots, mountaineering and cycling, fishing, Lake Skadar cruises, strolling down the mountain village Ivanova Korita, visiting mountain lakes, especially lanes around Blake Lake (Crno jezero), Biogradsko Lake and Hridsko Lake,” the National Parks of Montenegro suggests.

Those intending to visit Montenegro’s most treasured parks should know that there are bungalows in case you want to stay longer and hence make some beautiful shots capturing sunrises and sunsets in our country.

Visitors to the national parks will be charged a €1-4 fee, depending on the park they want to visit. There is a free entry for kids under seven years of age.
