Director of “Monteput”, Mr Goran Vujović, said that 80% of works on the construction of the first highway section had been finished. Participants in the Forum on Transport Connection visited the construction site of Moračica bridge to works in progress.
Mr Vujović pointed out that participants were familiar with the technical dynamics of this highway section and with all the dynamics at the construction site.
“They had the chance to see the location of Moračica bridge. They could see it’s almost finished, there are only two segments left. Dynamics of overall works is 80%, all tunnels have been dug. Around 80% of other works in tunnels is almost complete. Eight supplementary bridges are completely connected. In the forthcoming period, we expect works to intensify even more”, pointed out Mr Vujović.
He added that electric works stand out. The equipment for them is installed where it is technically possible.
“Currently, there are 2825 people at the construction site, and over 100 subcontractors. This was a very successful visit, people are very happy, we were glad to welcome them”, said Mr Vujović.
