Another two tunnels, Mrki Krs and Mala Trava, have been bored at the 3rd (Lopate) subsection of the priority Bar-Boljare highway section.
Now, the length of the bored tunnels has reached 13.4 kilometres, says the Chinese CRBC company.
These two tunnels are bored first in the third highway section. Mrki Krs was tunnelled in 10 months, while the tunnelling of Mala Trava started in October 2016.
The construction of the first section of the highway costs €809m. Of this sum, 85% is being financed by a loan from the Chinese Exim Bank.
