Mugoša and Čadjenović given police escort

The National Police reinforced the security measures to protect special state prosecutor, Saša Čadjenović, and a judge at the High Court in Podgorica, Suzana Mugoša, according to Vijesti.

On 9 May, the panel of judges is supposed to impose sentence in the case of failed Montenegro coup attempt in October 2016.

Mr Čađenović is acting on behalf of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office against several individuals, inter alia, the leaders of the Democratic Front (DF), Andrija Mandić and Milan Knežević. He has already received police escort after receiving threats.

Vijesti’s interlocutors claim the police reinforced the security measures because the DF leaders previously urged their supporters to take to the streets and defend them from “the already-known judgement of the regime“.
