Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is willing to open dialogue with the opposition and improve electoral legislation, but there won’t be any negotiations over technical government, says in the interview for Pobjeda Mr Miloš Nikolić, DPS member.
Part of the opposition still hopes that they will manage to establish technical government. Mr Nikolić says loud and clear that such dialogue won’t take place.
“We are willing to improve electoral legislation and work on every segment relevant to our society. We want to work together with the opposition. But, as I said earlier, we aren’t going to discuss technical government”, said Mr Nikolić.
Democratic Front’s (DF) announcement of new protests is a new act of its members’ desperate need to win leader position, says Mr Nikolić.
“After they refused to be part of the Committee, DF members suffered some sort of political damage and that’s just one of their ways to recover from it. It’s just a political marketing that won’t produce any results”, says Mr Nikolić.
He adds that, so far, no international contact has told him that there is going to be a new approach to accession negotiations regarding Western Balkans countries.
“The importance of WB integration has been emphasized at all international addresses. I think any other type of partnership would be risky. Montenegro must remain committed to working on the integration process so that it can meet all the requirements and enter the EU as soon as possible”, concluded Mr Nikolić.
