Due to manufacturer’s problems, state pharmacies do not have “fentagesic” transdermal patches. The transdermal drug will not be available until the end of the year, the Montefarm public pharmacy stated yesterday.
These are patches that patients suffering from cancer use against severe pain, as well as other patients who need to alleviate severe pain by opioids.
“The public will be notified in a timely manner when the medicine is again available,” Montefarm said.
