Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković today told that there’s one big and powerful company interested in buying the national carrier Montenegro Airlines (MA) but didn’t want to reveal its name.
He said: “The Government of Montenegro expects to receive the letter of intent by a company interested in buying the national carrier MA but I’m not familiar with the details.”
The national carrier, MA, only drew gross losses over the past years, and apart from €18m this company owes the state, it also owes the Airports of Montenegro €20m in unpaid debts.
