One of four richest Arab businessmen interested in investing in Montenegro

Management of DAMAC Properties, Dubai’s largest luxury real estate builder, is coming to Podgorica today to discuss investing potentials in Montenegro, Pobjeda reports.

Their visit is organised by Colliers Montenegro and visitors will meet Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and his predecessor and DPS leader Milo Djukanovic.

The Arab delegation includes Hussain Sajwani, founder and chairman of DAMAC, Wael Al Lawati senior vice chairman for project development and Danish Nayar, corporate CFO.

DAMAC representatives have visited Croatia twice so far exploring business environment for investments.

The company cooperates with the Investment Corporation of Dubai, Porto Montenegro owner. It is business partner with the company owned by the US president Donald Trump, Versace, Paramount Hotels & Resorts, Fendy, Tiger Woods Design and Bugatti.

DAMAC Properties was founded in 2001 as a constructor of luxury real estate in Dubai. Due to the implementation of Dubai’s award-winning projects, DAMAC is considered to be the most deserving of the luxurious image that Dubai is known for.

Today, the company is present in the markets of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, but also in the wider Middle East and the United Kingdom. Since 2013, it has been on the London Stock Exchange as the first Middle East real estate company.

The company has 2,000 employees, last year it managed assets worth €5.9bn and developed projects worth €1.7bn. It generated €883m profit.

Hussain Sajwani, DAMAC Properties founder and chairman, is the fourth richest Arab according to Forbes’ annual ranking of billionaires.
