Pavicevic suspected of bilking Post Office €2.5m

The Special State Prosecutor’s Office has launched a new investigation against the former Bar mayor Zarko Pavicevic over embezzlements which cost the Post of Montenegro €2.5m, writes Dan.

Apart from Pavicevic, seven witnesses have been heard within the investigation so far. The lawsuit in the case was filed by the Post of Montenegro against the bankrupt Bar Construction Institute (ZIB), owned by Pavicevic, and the Bar-based USEFA company. Pavicevic’s company did not respect the agreement on the joint construction of housing and business premises, thus causing a €2.5m harm to the Post.
