Perper has become a digital currency

A German of Montenegrin origin and a scientist in the area of digital technologies in a German pharmaceutical company, Aleksandar Kapisoda, presented on Friday the first Montenegrin state coins – perper as a digital currency in Montenegro’s consulate general in Frankfurt am Main. He devoted this project to 100 years since the end of the Christmas rebellion, the Council for Cooperation with Diaspora stated.

“He devoted the crypto perper to knights’ revolt who acted courageously and honestly and who fought and died for rights, honor and freedom of Montenegro from 1918 to 1929,” the Council announced.

Kapisoda’s project – digital currency the perper is equivalent to bitcoin – an online payment method.
