Coronavirus outbreak has shaken the world economy. Effects will be visible when the world defeats the pandemic. Government of Montenegro has adopted several economic measures, with the aim of making citizens’ life easier and helping economy in times of the pandemic.
Liberal Party (LP) suggests that all capital projects should be temporarily postponed, including the greatest one- the Bar-Boljari highway.
“A long war lies ahead. Part of economic measures have already been put in place, but the Government needs to propose the whole set of measures urgently”, said Mr Andrija Popović, president of this party.
He believes Government will soon come out with the Proposal for economic measures to save biological and economic being of Montenegro in this, we can say, wartime.
“Government should primarily help everybody who was left without profit due to the epidemic, as well as people who pay their rents and vulnerable groups. Private sector is priority for the Liberal Party”, Mr Popović pointed out.
