President of the Karate association candidate for SNP leader

President of the Karate association of Montenegro Vladimir Jokovic is one of the candidates for the new leader of SNP, Pobjeda daily unofficial learns.

SNP Congress is scheduled for August 13th in Podgorica. Jokovic was nominated by the members of steering committee of SNP who were close to the former president Srdjan Milic.

Speaking to Pobjeda, Jokovic neither confirmed nor denied his candidacy. He said that it was important that the new leader of the party unites SNP.

Vladimir Jokovic has been doing karate since 1985, representing Montenegro and Yugoslavia from 1991 to 2000.

Running against Jokovic at the congress will probably be mayor of Berane Dragoslav Scekic, who alings with those who disagree with the current leadership of the party.
