Nearly €1.1 million collected, 25 children received hospital treatment: Let’s help these superheroes as well

A healthy man has thousand wishes, a sick man only one – to be healthy. The Be Human Foundation has been fighting for that one wish for four years already. So far, they have generated nearly €1.1 million and sent 25 children abroad to receive hospital treatment. The money is now being collected for the three of them.

The Foundation helps in collecting money only for persons under 21 and those who, for some reason, didn’t get the support of the Health Insurance Fund.

“We’ve collected nearly a million and one hundred thousand euro since the Foundation started with its functioning, and 25 children were treated thanks to that money. Our plan is to collect as much money as possible in the coming period,” executive director of the Foundation, Mr Goran Jovanović, told CdM.

In that period, a range of projects, actions and events that contributed to the expansion of their mission and the realization of the Foundation’s main goal – to help children with rare diseases – were organized.

“We have so far organized many great projects like Teleton, the Superheroes action and other events. The society positively responded and confirmed that we have been doing the right and big thing. We’ll keep doing it with somewhat greater experience, ready for new victories of our little/big heroes,” Mr Jovanović told.

The decision on whom to help is made by the three-member panel of physicians. The Foundation submits the panel the request and related documents of a child needing help.

No one is prioritized, as the profiles are being opened for all users who meet the requirements and agree with the rulebook of the Foundation. After that, donors can choose whom to help.

Whom should we help?

If you believe it, you can do it! It’s how the Foundation describes Adea Dervišaga. This brave 15-year-old girl is living with cerebral palsy and she has another goal – one day, she’d like to become a psychologist.

If you wish to help Adea, you can send a text message, just type 12, to 14543.

Also, you can help by paying money on the bank account 520-14644-84 or foreign account 520042000000861081. The IBAN number is ME25520042000000861081.

Another brave warrior is Ivo Radulović, a 12-year-old boy living with the severe form of autism. The Foundation says that his disease hasn’t affected his love for life and he’s made a huge progress in all areas thanks to various treatments and biomedical therapies.

If you want to help Ivo develop all his potentials, please sent a text message – type 25 – to 14543.

Third brave warrior is a 15-year-old girl, Anesa Pejčinović, from the town of Ulcinj.

Anesa was born in October 2003. In the fourth month, she got a high fever that lasted for six days. She was treated in Podgorica and soon after diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

“From that day until today, the situation hasn’t changed. Anesa does not walk, talk and have a chewing reflex,” the Foundation pointed out.

“In order for her condition to improve, she needs stem cell transplants and rehabilitation at the Turkish Liv Hospital clinic,” the Foundation says.

Let’s type 17 and send a text message to 14543.
