Amendments to the Decree on fee for incentive to the electricity production based on renewable resources and high-efficiency co-generation envisage that effects of the increase shouldn’t be felt by consumers who spend electricity efficiently.

Incentive fee will remain the same for the consumption of first 300 KWh in households.

“Around 61% of households will not be affected by the increase in price”, said the representatives of Ministry earlier.

A fee in the amount of 0,9439 KWh is defined for the category of households where consumption exceeds 300 kWh and for other categories of distribution buyers.

In the middle of July, the Government adopted the Decree on the amendment to the Decree on setting the amount of incentives to electricity production based on renewable resources and high-efficiency co-generation which will have positive impact on all electricity consumers.

The amendment stipulates that privileged producer becomes eligible to receive incentives on the day it acquires the status of privileged producer.
