Military analyst, Mr Aleksandar Radić, said the unmanned aerial vehicles that the Montenegrin Ministry of Defense plans to procure for the Montenegrin Army would have an important role in military tasks, but also in case of natural disasters where the Army can assist a lot.
Unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as ‘drones’, are flexible but powerful tools of a limited scope, and that is why, according to him, Montenegro is going to get the ones of somewhat greater scope and capacity, writes Pobjeda daily.
“Whenever the military equipment is to be procured, technical requirements must be precisely defined. This is the equipment never possessed by our Army before. It has to be completely aligned with the best NATO standards,” Mr Radić told Pobjeda daily.
The unmanned aerial vehicles Montenegro plans to get are small, but the Ministry will buy many other drones as well. The drones can be used in the NATO missions involving our soldiers, explained Mr Radić.
