Radulovic: Europe Now is going to hit us like a boomerang

Žarko Radulović

The ‘Europe Now’ program had been promoted as a great project by the outgoing government, but the standard of living of all those who have their salary as the only income has become much worse. Nothing’s the same. Food prices have gone up for people and cattle ad both have to eat in order to survive.

The Montenegrin Tourism Association perceived the ‘Europe Now’ program as getting the country into a deep crisis.

“In my opinion, it was rather a populist move than an action with good intention. They couldn’t have destibilize Montenegro more than they did,” the President of the afore-mentioned association, Zarko Radulovic, told Gradska RTV.

According to him, hotel owners, who take care about every single penny they spend, have calculated that the inflation hit 13% in only 24 days of March.

“In the end, the crisis is going to hit us just like a boomerang. We’ll have to pitch up the holes as there’s no one else who can do it,” Mr Radulovic explains.
