Raonić: Hahn’s position clear, should be taken seriously

Johanes Han

The Civic Movement URA and the Democratic Montenegro plan to continue boycotting the parliament and when it comes to the electoral legislation reform, they will participate in that process through a forum consisting of the MPs, representatives of the parliamentary and non-parliamentary entities, as well as all the other interested individuals.

Commenting of the above-mentioned decision of the two parties, the leader of the Civic Alliance, Boris Raonić, said lack of trust in the ruling coalition and hatred in the opposition throw a shadow on the Board’s work, as it might happen some other MPs to decide to behave the same.

“Apart from the MPs of URA and the Democrats, some other individuals supporting the independent MP Aleksandar Damjanović, might decide to do the same. This all is the result of insufficient European Commission experience in similar situations, where the U.S. proved to be much more efficient,” Raonić told Dan Novine daily.

The most important thing is that Commissioner Hahn has already taken clear and timely position on this matter, according to Raonić.
