Recommendation for the Government to take the “Mediteran” complex out on lease

The Prime Minister, Duško Marković, considered the Report on the results of the negotiations on the basis of the international public tender for long-term lease of the military and tourism complex “Mediteran”, Žabljak, during today’s session of the Council for Privatization and Capital Projects.

He proposed to the Government to adopt the Report, establish the decision on the long-term lease and authorize the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulović, to sign the contract.

Important elements of the proposed contract are: 30 year long lease of the land with 13.951 m2 with the price of the lease paid in advance (1,01 EUR per square meter) and advance payment of the lease for the first five years, investment program which includes construction of the five-star resort worth 5,4 million EUR.

The Council took into consideration the Report on the control of the executed works and level of investments, Report on the factual situation in relation to procedures agreed in advance and implemented on the request of Montenegro. The Council also considered the Information about the fulfillment of the requirements for a repayment of the first bank guarantee to “Global Post Holding” and proposed to the Government to state that this company invested in rehabilitation and reinforcement of the southern coast Gata 1.

The Council also accepted requests of the Institute for physical medicine,  rehabilitation and rheumatology “Dr Simo Milošević” and gave consent for the conclusion of the contract with “Jadran” from Herceg Novi on using sports pool.
