A total of €2.21bn (41.7%) of GDP, estimated at €5.306bn, will flow into the state budget next year, and will be €86.5m higher than planned for this year, when GDP was estimated at €4.881bn. This is stated in one of the key strategic documents of the current Government – the Program of Economic Reforms, 2022 – 2024, the draft of which was put up for public discussion by the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare until 23 December, Dnevne Novine reports.

It is specified that the goal of fiscal policy in 2022 is “complete recovery of the collection of public revenues based on economic activity” to the level of 2019, with the generation of new revenues. On the other hand, it is added that public spending will grow, especially the capital budget after this year’s rationalization.
