Rudović: URA should come to its senses ASAP

Rudović

I still hope URA might return to the strategic goals I prefer and this is why I don’t want to abandon this party, said ex vice-president of URA, Neđeljko Rudović, after he resigned from all party functions, adding that he can’t accept the fact that any other political party can affect URA’s decisions.

Rudović gave up his MP mandate and thus became the first MP who gave its mandate to the party although it belongs to him. “It wasn’t easy for me to abandon everything I have been working on for 4 years but it’s better to resign than participate in something contrary to your own beliefs,” Rudović told Pobjeda daily.

Here’s what Rudović wrote on his Facebook profile:

“In my opinion, the Democratic Montenegro greatly affects decisions of URA’s managerial staff and when making decisions, URA must take care whether its majority coalition partner would approve them”.

He underlined such a coalition might endanger URA’s identity and it could become a marginal political party depending of other party’s will. The reason why he didn’t react until the elections were finished was because he didn’t mean any harm. “I’ll keep doing things my way and URA Civic Movement is free to use my MP mandate as soon as it enters the Parliament,” added Rudović.
