Montenegrin authorities have sent a request to their counterparts in Russia so they could notify them of the procedure against Montenegrin citizen Ananije Nino Nikic, who was arrested on April 2nd in Rostov region, Pobjeda daily writes.
Special State Prosecution initiated a procedure against Nikic due to suspicions that he took part in the preparation of terrorist attacks on the day of parliamentary elections on October 16th last year.
A red international warrant was issued for Nikic’s arrest, and he was taken in Rostov region, however Montenegrin authorities have no information on whether he was still in extradition remand and when he would be extradited to Montenegro.
