Despite the fact that air traffic between Russia and Montenegro hasn’t resumed, sale of tickets from Moscow and Saint Petersburg to Tivat and Podgorica significantly increased after MNE opened its borders to Russian citizens, Interfax Tourism writes.
“Number of tickets purchased from 3 to 9 August is almost five times higher compared with data referring to the previous month”, press service of “One Two Trip” online service said.
They said Tivat is very popular.
Meanwhile, direct flights from Russia to Montenegro are still suspended.
Aeroflot suspends Zagreb and Tivat flights for 2020
ExYuAviation reports that Russian carrier, Aeroflot, has suspended its flights to Tivat and Zagreb for the rest of 2020,with the carrier planning to return to the two cities at the start of next year’s summer season in late March.
The airline discontinued flights to the pair following its grounding this April as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Although Aerflot resumed a limited international schedule, numerous routes have again been cancelled or postponed.
