Sanctions on Russia open door to tourists from Western Europe

Kotor

The pre-season started this year in March. Pobjeda’s interviewers say that they were afraid that the season would be bad because of the war in Ukraine, but as we “reacted” to sanctions against Russia, so tourists from the West started booking in our country and started canceling their bookings in Serbia. Although more flights have been announced than last year, they think there should be even more to some more countries.

Natasa Spiric-Smiljanic, the owner of the MonteBay Perla Hotel and the Luminalis travel agency, points out that a political position is important for our tourism.

According to her, we are starting to restore the good reputation we had before the Covid-19 pandemic.

The president of the board of the Association of Tourism and Hospitality of the Chamber of Commerce, Ranko Jovovic, says that this pre-season is significantly better than the previous one.

The owner of the Explorer company, Luka Bulatovic, urges us to develop the infrastructure and protect the environment better.
