SD prepares initiative to shorten Parliament mandate

The Social Democrats (SD) have prepared and put into procedure the initiative to shorten the mandate of Parliament, because instead of bridging the problem, this government, which assumes the character of a traitor and has no electoral legitimacy, has pushed the state into deeper divisions and focused it on the issues that it should not deal with. This has been stated today by the SD leader Damir Sehovic. He has added that anyone who insists on the survival of this government, even though it is clearly and irrevocably moving us away from Europe, does not wish Montenegro well.

As explained in the initiative, the new parliamentary majority and the new Government have defined key priorities, namely paving the way for European integration, reforms in the judiciary, electoral reform and improving the economic and social situation.

However, instead of the stated priorities, the issues that dominate are those that further polarize and confuse the public, that make the political scene more unstable, that are not part of the European agenda and that do not contribute to improving the seriously threatened standard of living.
