The DPS presidential candidate, Milo Djukanovic, won 37.6% of the votes in the north, while his opponent, Jakov Milatovic (Europe Now), won 23.8%.
In the central region, Milatovic won 35.1% of the vote, and Djukanovic 31.9%.
In the south, 37.3% of voters supported Djukanovic and 23.6% supported Milatovic.
Djukanovic and Milatovic are to participate in the second round of the presidential election on 2 April.
