Shooting in Podgorica: Ivan Nedovic killed, Minja Sakovic seriously injured

Ivan Nedovic (33) was killed in the shooting that took place today in a café operating within the Auto-Zeta garage in the Vaka Djurovica street in Podgorica. Milic Minja Sakovic (30) has been seriously injured in the shooting, CdM learns.

The perpetrators who fired several bullets on Nedovic and Sakovic are unknown for the time being and police are making efforts to identify and find them.

Emergency and police teams arrived to the scene soon. The wounded men were transported to the Clinical Centre of Montenegro, but Nedovic, unfortunately, passed away. Doctors are struggling to save Minja Sakovic.

CdM unofficially learns that the attackers intended to shoot both of men and that nothing indicated that Nedovic was an accidental victim.

Sakovic and Nedovic were often together.

Nedovic is the owner of Auto-Zeta. He has two children.

Milic Minja Sakovic has been known to police, since he committed several criminal offenses in Podgorica. He is allegedly associated with Skaljari clan.

He was arrested several times for possessing weapons. He is suspected of participating in the murder of the Partizan FC fan Aleksandar Stankovic, dubbed Sale Mutavi (29).

Also, six years ago he was sentenced to a year in prison for extortion.
