Montenegrin ski centers are ready to welcome the forthcoming winter season. Six ski centers will be active: ski center Savin kuk and Javorovača on Durmitor, ski center Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600, ski center Vučje in Nikšić and ski center Hajla in Rožaje. The ski centers will be open next weekend, whereas the ski center Kolašin 1600 will open its door to the lovers of white sports. Price of the services in ski centers, as the CEO of Ski centers Miloš Popović said, will be the same as last year. Just like last season, complete infrastructure will be in function.

Two ropeways operating with two seats will be available on Savin kuk, along with three ski-lifts and a ski-lift for children. In the ski center in Kolašin, two ropeways will be available (with two seats and six seats), five ski-lifts  and a ski-lift for children. It will be possible to use the services of ski-school, ski rent and so on.

“Ski pass prices will be at the same level as they were last year. The most demanding ski passes on Savin Kuk will amount: 12 EUR one day, 8 EUR half day ski pass, 8 EUR ski pass for children. In Kolašin, the prices will be: 15 EUR ski pass one day and 11 EUR ski pass for children”, said Popović.

As far as the structure of guests is concerned, Popović expects guests who visit our ski centers traditionally, domestic guests and guests from the region.

Project Kolašin 1600 is the backbone of the development of winter tourism in the north of Montenegro. It has the most modern ropeway with six seats, made by the world’s best producer Dopllemeyer, whose testing requires 20-30 days in winter conditions.

“This ropeway is what Mercedes is in the world of cars”, said Popović.
