Slovakian ambassador: Local elections to show whether boycott pays off

The upcoming local elections in Montenegro will demonstrate whether the parliament boycott brings any benefits for the opposition, said ambassador of Slovakia to Montenegro, Roman Hlobenj, speaking to Pobjeda daily.

“The political fight must be lead in democratic institutions, this is my firm belief”, he said.

He said that opposition’s voice in legislative matters is very important and irreplaceable.

“The political life goes on regardless of the boycott”, he said, adding that the boycott is the reality of situation, but that he is not pleased with it.
