Small countries contribute to cooperation, unity of Europe

Small European countries contribute to cooperation and unity of Europe – it was noted at the meeting between Montenegro’s Parliament Speaker, Mr Ivan Brajović, and the President of the National Council, Mr Stéphane Valeri.

The meeting was held in the Principality of Monaco and also attended by the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mr José Badia. It was concluded that the parliamentary cooperation both at the bilateral level and within the small European countries has been extremely significant.

Mr Brajović emphasized that inter-parliamentary cooperation should be further deepened by new developments in line with the Framework Agreement between the two states signed in 2013.

Montenegro’s Parliament Speaker was the guest at the traditional charity dinner organized by the Red Cross of the Principality of Monaco where he met Prince Albert of Monaco and exchanged opinions on the cooperation between the two countries, whose economies are based primarily on tourism.

Mr Brajović also had a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Principality of Monaco, Mr Gilles Tonelli, and spoke about the importance of regular political dialogue for better mutual understanding and definition of new models of cooperation, as well as for further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries in the relevant areas.
