The premises of the Social Democrats of Montenegro (SD) were robbed during the night and IT equipment was stolen.
This was announced by the spokesman of this party, Stefan Suster. He pointed out that this was the second attack on SD premises after the premises door had been plastered with photos with inappropriate messages in February.
“Of course, as required by the procedure in such cases, SD informed the competent authorities, who conducted an on-site investigation this morning. Unfortunately, these events are a consequence of the deliberate, constant creation of a climate of distrust in the integrity of the state institutions, in which irresponsible statements of various political parties and certain social actors significantly contribute to losing trust and creating impression of a weak state with insufficient capacities to adhere to its actions and decisions,” he added.
Suster states that the re-attack on the premises proves that SD’s political activity is right, since in the past days, the party has been a target of destructive political structures and their “civic” allies. As he put it, those structures are doing everything to destabilise Montenegro and fabricate the weakness of its institutions.
“SD will never allow that, but it will be very active in the fight against such a backward policy using only democratic means,” Suster said.
