Spajic: We’re returning 1.1 tons of gold to Montenegro

Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Milojko Spajic has said that the Government is to repay €30m of the Credit Suisse loan, which is due on 11 April.This means returning 1.1 tons of gold to Montenegro, currently worth €75m.

“This is the first time we will release gold reserves.

We will bring them back to Montenegro. Montenegrin state property is to receive €75m in additional gross value”, Spajic has pointed out at the press conference, adding that it is about 1.1 tons of gold.
