For people around the world Montenegro is becoming more and more attractive tourist destination. This year’s summer season is another one which will set record according tot he estimates made by National Tourism Organization. Beaches at the Montenegrin coast are full of bathers and there are currently around 200.000 tourists in Montenegro, mostly from the region and from Russia.
The most important economic branch in Montenegro will once again be the key economic driver in the country.
“Taking into consideration physical and financial indicators, we are very satisfied with the achieved results and we expect that this year, summer season will break the record set last year. Private accommodation facilities are full but we don’t have official statistical data about how much is that. There were around 1.356.000 overnights during the first six months of this year and around 407.000 guests in the hotel accommodation. Compared to 2017, this is a 12% and 17% growth respectively”, said the representatives of NTO.
