Vuksic is riding again

Petar Komnenic continues to excel in bias by consistently implementing a clear political agenda before the elections. The guests on the show this time were the former head of ANB and the current technical minister of the interior, who complemented each other all the time. It is interesting to mention that during Vuksic’s mandate, Vijesti had exclusive access to information from the service, although this has not changed in the last few months.

I wouldn’t delve too much into the details of the show, but it’s important to note a few details. Adzic praises Kurti, a double attempted murderer, and tells how he was the target of an attack because he is a reformist. Right, and not because he tried to kill the neighbor and the hairdresser. Adzic also used a legalistic approach to justify him, he told us “he is clean before the law”.

Vuksic, on the other hand, continues Abazovic’s practice and discredits journalists. In addition, he threatens ANB officials “you work according to the law and you have nothing to worry about”. He referred to the writings about the new head of ANB, who has been accused by certain media outlets of “flying over” and serving a new political agenda.

Imagine Vijesti serving us Vuksic za moral authority, whose son posted pictures of Legija on Facebook, who was a lawyer for the clans, then denied it, and who is ultimately very close to extreme radical currents in the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), like priest Miajlo Backovic, a militant priest involved in the network of extreme organizations of Orthodox Youth, the Night Wolves, veterans with red berets, Balkan Cossack Armies and many other things.

Contradictory EC Report echoes

The problem of different and conflicting interpretations of the EC Report on Montenegro continues. The government made fun of those who announced “the most catastrophic report ever”. And some are, because we see that even ASK, which was the target of the most frequently cited criticisms, boasts of the successes that the Report noted. In addition, during the meeting with Ambassador Popa and in her presence, the Prime Minister boasted about the progress that the Report stated was “better than last year”. Judge for yourself who is crazy here.

It is interesting to mention the comment of Minister Jovana Marovic on the Report, who said that the fall of the government caused the stagnation and confusion in the negotiations. She just needed to remind us who was responsible for the fall of the government, and why she refused to participate in what diverted us from the European path.

ASK criticized because of the PM and President

Instead of establishing the facts, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (AKS) is taking the word of (Prime Minister Dritan) Abazovic that he went on the trip privately, the Network for the Affirmation of the NGO Sector (MANS) announced yesterday.

This is how MANS criticized the attitude of the Prime Minister’s cabinet and ASK towards the Prime Minister’s trip to Dubai, when he visited the Formula 1 races.

The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption assessed that the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, and the Prime Minister in the technical mandate, Dritan Abazovic, did not violate the Law on the Prevention of Corruption due to the failure to declare the expenses of the trip to the United Arab Emirates. Djukanovic, we remind you, traveled to Dubai in March 2010, while Abazovic was in the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi, and in Dubai, in December 2021. The procedure was initiated after the MANS’s initiative.

Children in Serbia are taught lies about Montenegro

Nothing new, but a little more interesting this time, mostly because it is quite current. The textbooks now talk about the persecution of Serbs, discrimination with a rather aggressive narrative inappropriate for a textbook. This is the continuation of the campaign which creates and cultivates a hostile attitude towards Montenegro in that country, in which the very fact that someone declares himself as a Montenegrin is considered a scandal and meanness. Such textbooks with such propagandistic messages aimed at generating hatred towards a state and nation can have the greatest impact on the safety and well-being of the Montenegrin minority in Serbia, which is under great assimilation pressures.

That’s it for today and this week. See you again on Monday.

Kind regards,

Ljubomir Filipovic, CdM analyst
