Main tender for the execution of works on the improvement of water supply system and waste water drainage in the municipality of Ulcinj worth €18 million will be invited soon.
Funds for this project have been earmarked from the loan of German Development Bank (KFW).
President of the municipality, Mr Ljoro Nrekić, said that this project was very important for Ulcinj and that all municipal services would engage so that its implementation could start at the beginning of the next year.
The project entails rehabilitation and construction of 65,3 km of water supply network.
Second phase entails rehabilitation of sources and pump stations, reconstruction of the existing reservoir in Bijela Gora and construction of two new reservoirs.
Projected measures also include reconstruction of sewerage system (1,6 km) and rehabilitation of submarine discharge ( 1,1 km).
