According to the last data of Monstat, average salary in February was 511 euros, and the amount for March should be announced soon. According to official data, this year has begun in a more modest manner than the last.

Tax Administration said to Pobjeda daily that the highest salary in March this year was paid in the amount of 8.329 euros, with taxes and contributions – 14.742 euros.
„This amount was paid to a person working in IT sector”, it was stated in TA.
They underlined that this was not a regular salary, but a reimbursement for one month.
TA stated that the lowest salary was 288 euros gross, and 193 euros net, and was received by 1.066 employees, in sectors such as production of yarns, hospitality, trade.
It is still unclear whether the lowest salary in Montenegro will be increased.
