Committee for Finances, Economy and Development of the Capital City has proposed adoption of the Proposal for the Decision on giving consent on the price list for general and special parking places.
This decision stipulates a set of amendments in the price for general and special parking places through reduction in price in all zones, except in the first one.
The new price list is particularly aimed at resolving the problem of parking in specific areas of the capital.
Price for the zone I has remained unchanged and amounts to €10 at monthly level.
The new price scheme has been harmonized with the strategic document for this area , Sustainable Development Plan of urban mobility of Podgorica. The price has been increased by 10 or 20 cents on almost all special parking places.
Capital City Administration wants to alleviate the burden downtown.
The most expensive parking places will be places behind “Ražnatović” mall (€0,70 per hour).
The cheapest parking will be found in the center, in Stanka Dragojevića St., €0,40 oer hour.
The price will be higher in public garages in the center, €0,60.
The explanation of the Decision says that the concept of the price list had to be changed, especially in the area of special parking places.
The Proposal for the decision will be on the agenda in the local parliament session scheduled for 24 February.
