Three more people have died due to Covid-19 in Montenegro


Montenegro health officials announced today that there are 52 more Covid-19 cases in the country and 3 more deaths over the past 24 hours. Of the deaths reported today, one was born in 1947, one in 1950 and 1954. Two of them were treated in the Nikšić General Hospital and one in the Clinical Center of Montenegro.

In addition, 37 recoveries were reported.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in MNE is 1.119, i.e. 178 infections per 100K people.

“Labs of the Public Health Institute pulled 544 samples for PCR testing and registered 52 new infections. New cases are from Podgorica 21, Bijelo Polje 8, Rožaje 8, Berane 6, Nikšić 3, Ulcinj 3, Pljevlja 2 and Bar 1,” the Institute announced.

The death toll from early June now stands at 62, while another 37 patients beat the virus.
