Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković met today with the Ambassador of Kosovo Ylber Hysa and both sides agreed there were no open issues which would derail good relations between the two countries. The meeting highlighted that the project referring to the construction of a tunnel between Rožaje and Peć would contribute to better quality of transport between Montenegro and Kosovo.
Ambassador Hysa said that relations between Montenegro and Kosovo can represent an example of good neighborly cooperation for the whole region.
“There are always fields where we can make certain improvements and traffic connectivity is one of the basic preconditions for dynamic development of business activities.”
Montenegro and Kosovo have been committed to the construction of new and modernization of the existing road infrastructure, but there’s room for other projects as well, which would connect citizens and economic entities in a faster and high quality manner.
