Deputy Director of the Russian MFA’s Department of European Cooperation, Vladislav Maslenikov, is the new Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Montenegro, writes Pobjeda daily.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin signed the decree yesterday thus naming Mr Maslenikov to succeed Mr Sergej Gricaj as Russian ambassador to Montenegro, the Russian media earlier reported.
Mr Gricaj has been performing duties of the Russian ambassador to MNE since 30 June 2015. Before that, he’d had many diplomatic responsibilities in the United States, former Yugoslavia and China.
