At a news conference held today, the Prime Minister, Milojko Spajic, along with the Minister of Finance, Novica Vukovic, and Director of the Transport Directorate, Radomir Vuksanovic, announced that a tender for reconstruction of Vojislavljevici Street in the Podgorica settlement Zabjelo would be launched tomorrow. The project refers to a 3.2 km long roadway, while its value amounts to €14.5 million including VAT.
As Mr Vuksanovic noted, the project included widening of Vojislavljevici Street which would become a four-lane boulevard stretching 3.2km. Works are supposed to last 18 months.
“We’ve prepared technical documentation. The project envisages widening of the mentioned street, which is to become a boulevard. It would stretch from 4 July Street to the bridge over the River Moraca. The value of the works amounts to €14.5 million, including VAT. This solution is going to reduce traffic congestion in Podgorica,” Mr Vuksanovic said.
