Voli plans to build more greenhouses in Svač

Voli trade company, the leaseholder of 70 hectares of state-owned land in Svač, near Šasko lake, in the Municipality of Ulcinj, is planning to widen its capacities by building new greenhouses and orchards.

The control was carried out on 16 October this year, and was preceded by amendments to the agreement. At the beginning of June, Voli trade delivered to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development an amended investment project, which was later approved.

“Amended Investment plan stipulates reduction of investment period from three to two years and minimum investment in the amount of €1,38 million for a two-year period. Investment refers to the provision of required agriculture mechanization, arrangement of production parcels, construction of protected greenhouse space and construction of required facilities in the second investment year”, reads the document.

The plan also contains amendments concerning investment in developing perennial plants.

As stipulated in the plan, Voli intends to set up more greenhouses, with a total of 3 hectares of surface area.

“Apart from the financial investments, the leaseholder has built a multi-purpose facility in the economic yard. The facility has a refrigerator room, storehouses for raw material and accommodation of mechanization, premises for the accommodation of season and temporarily engaged qualified workforce with the accompanying amenities, as well as offices for management personnel”.
