Acting director of the National Security Agency (ANB) Dejan Vukšić admitted during yesterday’s parliamentary hearing of him and Deputy PM Dritan Abazović that there was a security breach and that the identities of CIA agents were revealed. However, he stated that his closest associate had made a mistake without checking details from the official note when signing the secret information submitted to the members of the Security Committee, Pobjeda reports.

At yesterday’s press conference, held after the parliamentary hearing, Mr Abazović confirmed the earlier information that “secret data from the intelligence agency of a NATO member were disclosed”, but also stressed that “nothing was done to the detriment of the state”.

He pointed out that Mr Vukšić was doing his job professionally.
