Ivan Vukovic, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica, believes that it is good that Montenegro will have a very short campaign for the presidential elections, as citizens will see less primitivism, non-culture and ignorance manifestations, which have recently dominated the public scene.
In an interview with the weekend edition of Dnevne Novine newspaper, Vukovic said that when it comes to the quality of the political offer, the situation seemed never worse.
“Since the referendum, Montenegro has more or less progressed in all spheres of social life. At the same time, as a political community, we have experienced a terrible regression. We have never had more parties and leaders in Montenegro and less politics and politicians,” says Vukovic.
