World’s ministers of agriculture committed to development of sustainable livestock breeding

Milutin Simovic, Montenegrin minister of agriculture and rural development, together with 69 world’s agriculture ministers, attended the 10th ministers’ summit held in Berlin within the international conference – the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA).

Agriculture ministers called for a joint action in terms of developing the sustainable livestock breeding. “The conference promoted rules, standards and need for signing agreements at all levels, aimed at achieving our goal. It reflected on the significance of moderate consumption of food of animal origin, which would contribute to balanced food consumption, better health and preservation of resources. Conclusion of the Conference was to continue with promoting researches and technologies development, including digitalization, development of veterinary medicine, esp. vaccines and their usage,” the ministry’s statement reveals.

Minister of agriculture, Milutin Simovic, together with his colleagues from Macedonia, Kosovo and Moldova, signed the European Soya Declaration at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture held in Berlin.
