Zenka: Government of experts and URA representatives acceptable to us

Mehmed Zenka

Mr Mehmet Zenka, a representative of the Albanian coalition ‘Unanimously” and human and minority rights minister in the current government, says that they find acceptable to be part of an “experts and URA representatives government”, whereas the cooperation with the Democratic Front (DF) is unlikely to happen.

One of the DF leaders, Mr Milan Knežević, called on Montenegro’s minority parties yesterday to join the post-election coalition, noting that they’re ready to put a moratorium on differences among them.

“We find it acceptable to form a government of Dritan Abazović’s URA representatives and experts, but we want experts – representatives of minority nations as well, without DF representatives. We don’t see the possibility for cooperation with them, as the rhetoric over the past few days confirmed our fears,” Mr Zenka told Pobjeda daily.

He continued: “We can take part in the govt of experts, comprising other citizens-oriented parties, but the truth is that we don’t share the same views with the Democratic Front.”

Asked to comment on recent statements that an “experts government” won’t include politicians and party members, Mr Zenka told it’d be quite difficult to set up a non-party government without minorities. However, first they should wait to see concrete proposals.

Meanwhile, the Bosniak Party stated they still haven’t received any official invitation from parties to set up the alliance.
