According to preliminary data of the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT), the price of new-build homes in Montenegro in the first quarter of this year has gone up by nearly 30 per cent compared to the same period in 2020. The average price of a square meter in a new flat in Montenegro amounted to 1.219 euro in the first quarter of 2021 and is by 29.7 per cent higher compared to the same period last year, and by 21.1 per cent higher compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.
Experts in statistics say that the average price of a square meter in a new home largely depends on the share of solidarity flats.
